Continuing our dedication to supporting NGOs and goodwill organizations, we have now partnered with San Patrignano to help them with their cause to fight drug addiction in Europe. San Patrignano has deployed Zenarmor NGFW to provide advanced network security and cyber protection while offering secure online programs to their learners and respecting the privacy of individuals.
The community had shared the following statement about our collaboration:
San Patrignano is the leading drug rehabilitation community in Europe. For more than 40 years it has taken in more than 26,000 young women and men, completely free of charge, offering them a home, health and legal assistance and above all the affection and support of a large family. In San Patrignano they can resume their interrupted studies and learn a trade, following vocational training activities in more than 30 sectors, from the winery to the bakery, from livestock to crops, from craft workshops to catering. In this way they can acquire skills, regain self-confidence and prepare for reintegration into society.
San Patrignano is a social enterprise model in which the funds needed to maintain the guests and facilities come, in part, from the activities and goods and services produced under the principle of self-management and, for the remaining needs, from donations and contributions from private individuals. IT tools are essential to enable a large entity like San Patrignano to manage and carry on its work on a daily basis. In addition, the community has been conducting a prevention program dedicated to students for years, including online workshops and video meetings.
This is why we are really grateful to Sunny Valley for donating us their Zenarmor software, which will be of great use to us to increase the protection of the internal network from cyber attacks and to give us the confidence to work while protecting the community's data.
